Confederation of Logistics and Supply Chain Managers of ASIA (“CLASCMA”) was established as a registered society duly gazetted in 2007 in the Republic of Singapore, to promote the best practices in Logistics and Supply Chain Management to the industries by a team of Subject Matter Experts comprising of practitioners and academics.
With rapid localization, privatization and globalization, alongside the changing economic scenario, CLASCMA realised that many corporations were not able to sustain and optimise their business opportunities as there is a lacuna in the advocacy in terms of research and development and continuous learning which is desirous of CLASCMA to fill.
CLASCMA has panel of Subject Matter Experts (“SMEs”) for the purpose of advocating world class standards.
The Main objectives of CLASCMA:
- To promote the best practices suited to the ASIAN culture & business environment
- To establish industry Standards and Benchmarking through its professional committee within its membership
- To conduct relevant qualification programs ranging from certificate to Postgraduate and provide Consulting and Placement Services in Human Resources.
To establish CLASCMA as a Regional Center for ASIA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
